Bio

Camille Delafon is a composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Paris. She creates music for a variety of projects, from film and television to live performances and sound installations.

A trained jazz pianist at the American School of Modern Music, she also holds a DEM in electroacoustic composition from the Conservatoire Régional de Paris and has studied contemporary music at the Conservatoire Régional d'Aubervilliers.

Camille has composed scores for advertising, television, and cinema, including the recent feature film Rien ni Personne by Gallien Guibert (90', 2024), which was nominated for the European Film Score Awards, and the documentary Miyazaki: The Spirit of Nature by Léo Favier, which is competing at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.

She is the recipient of several prestigious awards dedicated to film music, such as Emergence Cinéma, Trio, and the European Film Market, and regularly presents her work at masterclasses, including those at the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers, WBM Brussels, and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

Camille is also a co-founder of Collectif Troisième Autrice, an association for composers (women and gender-minorized people) focused on increasing visibility for their work and creating a supportive space for exchange, knowledge sharing, and reflection on the role of music in the audiovisual industry.

In addition, she continues to develop her sound installations, both independently and in collaboration with visual artists and photographers, and is currently preparing the release of her first EP under the project Camion De la Fille.
